A brief history of Flounder

Flounder is best known as the little yellow fish that is friends with Ariel. Flounder follows Ariel around during all of her adventures. Character-wise he serves often as comic relief, at times he scares easily or becomes panicked during stressful situations, but is always there to save Ariel when he needs to. Flounder was created as well by Hans Andersen and made his first appearance in The little Mermaid in 1989. He has had two voice actors play his role; Kenneth Mars and Jim Cummings.
